Supervision of works on the regulation of the bed of the river Lim in Bijelo Polje

Within the framework of the West Balkans Drina River Basin Management Project (WBDRB), the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Montenegro engaged the company Nik Com to provide consulting services related to the implementation of the project “Regulation of the bed of the Lim River in the urban area of ​​Bijelo Polje”.

The project entitled “Regulation of the bed of the river Lim in the urban area of ​​Bijelo Polje” includes solutions for overcoming the existing threats to the watercourse of the river Lim in a length of approximately 700 m, including the construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path, as well as several infrastructure facilities, including bridges. Specific works include clearing the river bed, stabilising slopes, and building support structures for the trail. Obligations of our company are:

– Monitoring the execution of works

– Verification of the quality of works, quality control of final works

– Reporting and documentation

– Cost and budget revision

– Control Compliance with safety and environmental standards

The value of the investment is approximately 5 million euros.
